Our problem this year was written by the Mock Trial committee specifically for a current issue facing teenagers and their families. While the facts of this case are fiction, there are real world examples every day and distracted driving affects every Colorado community. Because we want this problem to promote life skills as well as general awareness about safety in our communities and road, we have a presentation available that provides more incites to distracted driving. The presentation was developed through a non-profit, ENDDD, in collaboration with pertinent experts in the field. Every team who enters the Colorado Mock Trial tournament is invited and encouraged to see this presentation. While viewing the presentation is not mandatory for participation in our competition, the presentation will give insight to the issues inherent in distracted driving and are intended to help teams develop their themes and witness examinations for the mock trial tournament.
Also, the participating students have a chance to win prizes including a $1000 scholarship to be used towards any academic need.
To schedule this presentation for your team, please simply contact Mock Trial Committee Memeber:
Porya Mansorian, Esq.
Porya will then arrange for an attorney with training in the presentation to schedule a time to give the ENDDD presentation at your school during a time convenient for you and your students.
